#1 - PROTECTIVE ESCORT

Protective Escort is the protection of the principle against all known and unknown threats while moving between locations via foot. The IBA train protective escorts from a one (1) to six (6) man formation covering a wide range of situations including stairs, elevators, escalators, enbus and debus. 

#2 - PROTECTIVE DRIVING

Protective Driving is the protection of the principle against all known and unknown threats while moving between locations via vehicle under protective escort. The IBA train in defensive and offensive driving skills including driving in convoy, lane positioning and changing as well as ambush, bottleneck, blocking and escape.

#3 - CONFLICT MANAGEMENT

The IBA D.A.R.T (Defensive and Restrain Tactics) training program is designed for Bodyguards. Conflict Management covers the five steps of the "use of force" from the presence of the Bodyguard(s), communication skills, empty and filled hand tacticas to the use of potential lethal force in reasonable self-defense or defence of another person.

#4 - IED SEARCH AND CLEARANCES

IED (Improvised Explosive Device) search and clearance is a complex process with Bodyguards needing to stay up-to-date with current threats. Bodyguards need to be able to search and clear homes, workplaces, vehicles and locations visited with a minimum of disruption to the daily activities of that location in a covert manner.

#5 - ESD SEARCH AND CLEARANCES

ESD (Electronic Surveillance Devices) search and clearance is another complex process with Bodyguards needing to stay up-to-date with current methods and equipment. Bodyguards need to be able to search and clear homes, workplaces, vehicles and locations visited with a minimum of disruption of that location in a covert manner.

#6 - BODYGUARD TCCC (FIRST AID) 

Bodyguard TCCC first aid is to assist in situations needing attention due to injury. First Aid is the initial aid before medical assistance. Bodyguards can hold advanced first aid qualifications to management different situation including CPR, elegies, medical needs and ballistic injuries. Medical services should always be used when the situation is beyond first aid.
